№ 016 · Testimony at the Red Cap

Entered from testimony
Entered from testimony: on damp bright mornings, a small figure in a moss cloak climbs the Red Cap, sets the ring beside him, and watches the far bend of the path where humans sometimes pass. He sits with perfect posture until the light goes. Then he climbs down, bows to the ring, and goes home. The ledger does not know what he is waiting for. The ledger suspects he does not mind the wait.
The ledger is still being written.
