Watercolor over graphite: a pink plastic princess ring with a crown and faceted gem, set with care on damp moss at the foot of a red-capped mushroom, a faint drag-path in the leaf litter behind it.

Recovered again

Update to the gully record: the ring is gone from the claim pile. Recovered again three paths east, at the foot of the red-capped mushroom, arranged with care. Whoever claimed it did not hide it. They displayed it. The ledger notes unusual confidence.
